The search committee is benefiting greatly from a robust and inclusive process. Members of the committee is actively seeking input from the Yale community, and they are engaging with students, faculty, staff, and alumni through formal and informal meetings. This page will list community meetings, such as listening sessions.

When you arrive at the event, you will be able to sign up to speak for up to three minutes, so as many people as possible will have the opportunity to share their opinions directly with trustees and members of the committee.

The committee would especially like to develop a stronger understanding of the Yale community’s views on the following key questions:

  1. What are your aspirations for Yale as a continuing leader in higher education in the world?
  2. What are the most important attributes of the next president of Yale?
  3. What do you think are the most important areas of focus for Yale to impact the critical challenges facing the world today?

Please reflect on these questions and, if you wish, share additional thoughts at the listening session. If you are unable to attend but would like to share your thoughts and suggestions about Yale’s next president, you may do so through this online form.
