Gina Rosselli Boswell, B.S., ’89 M.B.A.

Gina Rosselli Boswell serves as chief executive officer of Bath & Body Works, Inc., and as a member of its board of directors. Her distinguished career spans three decades and includes leading multi-billion-dollar businesses in beauty, home, and personal care, both in the U.S. and abroad.
Prior to joining Bath & Body Works, Ms. Boswell was a senior executive with Unilever, a company she joined through the acquisition of Alberto Culver, where she served as president of global brands. Earlier in her career, Ms. Boswell served as chief operating officer of Avon North America and held senior positions at Ford Motor Company and the Estée Lauder Companies Inc.
Ms. Boswell also has extensive public, private, and non-profit board experience, having served on the boards of ManpowerGroup, Wolverine Worldwide, ACCO Brands, Applebee’s, Beautycounter, Retail Industry Leaders Association, and YMCA of the USA. In recognition of her board service, she received the 2017 Directors to Watch award from Directors & Boards and the 2018 Most Influential Corporate Directors award from Women Inc. Ms. Boswell is a Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute and was recently recognized as one of the 25 Most Inspirational Women Leaders by Women’s Wear Daily.
Ms. Boswell has a life-long connection to her hometown of New Haven and to Yale. Her record of service to the university is extensive: from 2012 to 2021 she served on the University Council with six of those years as its president. She also held volunteer roles at the Yale School of Management and with the Yale Alumni Schools Committee, as well as supporting the launch of the shared interest group, 1stGenYale. In 2022, she received the Yale Medal, the Yale Alumni Association’s highest alumni award honoring outstanding individual service to the university.
Ms. Boswell earned her B.S. degree summa cum laude from Boston University and an M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management.
Ms. Boswell was appointed a successor trustee in 2023.
