When you arrive at the event, attendees will be able to sign up to speak for up to three minutes. Our intention is to give as many people as possible the opportunity to share their opinions directly with trustees and members of the committee.

The committee would especially like to develop a stronger understanding of the Yale community’s views on the following key questions:

  1. What are your aspirations for Yale as a continuing leader in higher education in the world?
  2. What are the most important attributes of the next president of Yale?
  3. What do you think are the most important areas of focus for Yale to impact the critical challenges facing the world today?

Please reflect on these questions and, if you wish, share additional thoughts at the listening session.

If you are unable to attend but would like to share your thoughts and suggestions about Yale’s next president, you may do so through this online form.

Sincerely,

Josh Bekenstein, ’80 B.A.
Senior Trustee
Chair, Presidential Search Committee
