
BIOMOL Young Investigator Award 2006
BIOMOL International LP is soliciting applications for a Young Investigator Award in the area of proteasome, COP9 signalosome, and eIF3 research. The award sum is $US1000 ($500 cash prize, $500 toward the purchase of BIOMOL research products). The award will be presented at the Zomes-IV Symposium to be held at Yale University , June 18 ¨C 21, 2006 .
The Young Investigator Award aims at recognizing outstanding achievements in Zomes-related research. The award committee will base s ubstantive decisions on actual presentation (poster or oral format) and not on the meeting abstract. Intellectual merit, quality of the data and presentation, and the ability to communicate during discussion will be important considerations. Meeting attendees fulfilling the eligibility criteria stated below are encouraged to submit this form with their Zomes-IV registration no later than May 1, 2006 .
Eligibility: Award applicants are to be within 5 years after completion of their graduate studies , typically senior Ph.D. or M.D. students, postdoctoral fellows, and early career independent investigators. Published research is eligible only if the publication date is after February 15, 2006 .
