Newborn Education Class
- Learn about newborn care and how to promote the health of your baby
- Become more familiar with the Department of Pediatrics
- Be able to identify common newborn health issues and know when to call the Department of Pediatrics
Classes are offered monthly on the 2nd Thursday of the month for women in their 32nd - 36th week of pregnancy.
YHP patients should call 203-432-0206 to register or stop by the Department of Pediatrics on the 3rd floor and speak to the receptionist.
Breastfeeding Class
- Learn breastfeeding basics and how to get off to a great start
- Discuss the "art of breastfeeding" and the joys and benefits it provides to you and your baby
- Explore common concerns parents have about breastfeeding
