Welcome!
YFT is a student run organization at Yale University that aims to connect a diverse group of members over topics related to Turkey and the Turkish Culture. Our activities range from Turkish Movie Screenings on a weyekly basis to academic talks on current issues regarding Turkish politics. We co-sponsor social events every semester with fellow cultural organizations. We are looking forward to another great year in which we can continue to add diversity and color to the Yale campus.
Spring 2008
We have started the Spring term with our staple activities: movie screenings and language tables. In addition, we are pleased to announce that we have launched the 1st Bulldogs in Istanbul summer internship program with the Undergraduate Career Services. (UCS) The range of the internship opportunities in Istanbul reflects the hard work of both the YFT Board and UCS. Our partnership with Reach Out also continues this semester with the 3rd Reach Out Summer Trip to Turkey. Currently, we are working on developing a Turkish Alumni Database and to bring a prominent Turkish politician to Yale.
