Dergi is the official publication of Yale Friends of Turkey. Its aim is to share writing in a wide range of subjects related to Turkish culture - politics, language, history, food and architecture are some of the topics of recently published articles. Dergi is published annually by Turkish undergraduates at Yale, but anyone affiliated with Yale - Turkish or non-Turkish - is welcome to submit original writing and photographs. Writing can be fiction, non-fiction, or poetry; the only criterion is a connection to Turkish culture. Each issue has an overarching theme; the theme of our Spring 2009 issue is "Istanbul."
The first issue of Dergi is still available to download. Grab your online copy of the '08 issue here
