Ecology and Evolutionary Biology major Cassie Stoddard '08 and advisor Richard Prum of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology published their recent findings on bird color vision and the evolution of feather color in The American Naturalist. Beginning in the fall of 2008, Cassie will be studying bird egg color at Cambridge as a Marshall Scholar.

Physics major Jeffrey Thompson '07 and advisor Jack Harris of Physics co-authored a recent paper in Nature.
  Thompson, Zwickl, Yarich, Marquardt, Girvin and Harris (2008) Strong dispersive coupling of a high finesse cavity to a micromechanical membrane. Nature 452: 72-75.

 
Chemistry major Vicky Doan-Nguyen '06 and advisor Patrick Loria of Chemistry co-authored a recent paper in Protein Science.

Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry major Joshua Au '08 and advisor Enrique De La Cruz of Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry co-authored a recent paper in Biochemistry.
  Au, Olivares, Henn, Cao, Safer and De La Cruz (2008) Widely distributed residues in thymosin beta4 are critical for actin binding. Biochemistry 47: 4181-4188.

 
Katherine Rostkowski '07, Environmental Engineering, and colleagues teamed with advisors Robert Gordon of Geology and Geophysics and Thomas Graedel of Forestry and Environmental Studies on two recent papers in Resources Conservation and Recycling.
