YSEC is excited to announce one of its newest project groups, Think Outside the Bottle, a campaign against bottled water use at Yale. Bottled water consumes resources in plastic manufacturing, requires shipping large distances, doesn't even have the same rigorous quality standards of tap water, and generates tons of waste because less than 10% are actually recycled. YSEC is committed to raising awareness on bottled water use and pushing Yale to commit to finding alternatives to bottled water for all events.

YSEC will be working in conjunction with Corporate Accounting International and Food and Water Watch to plan events. If you are interesting in helping with our anti-bottled water campaign please contact christine.jun@yale.edu.
