Ivy League Environmental Coalition

The Ivy League Environmental Coalition (ILEC) is a network of the environmental organizations of all of the Ivy League universities. ILEC was created to provide a communications link between these schools and to be a voice for the Ivy League environmental movement in the media.

ILEC was formed at the annual Greening of the Ivies conference in the fall of 2002. Through ILEC, environmental organizations at these schools can coordinate their efforts, allowing them to run more effective and powerful campaigns. In the past we have worked on the tree-free campus campaign; our current campaign addresses global warming and energy use.
