What: Led by student activists at colleges and universities from New England and the mid-Atlantic region, the one day conference will include workshops, panels, leadership training, an environmental fair, local and organic food, and community building. Opportunities to learn, share, and draw upon the experiences of other young and experienced environmentalists to find solutions and inspire action now.
Student activists are the ones who make it happen at their schools. Come share your stories and learn from others. Let others know how you create a commitment to the transition process necessary to adapt to climate change and peak oil. What strategies have you developed? We are on new ground. We will need to take action and engage with each other in a continual process of reflection.
