Raphael Magarik '10
Raphael Magarik was born to a she-bear in Alaska. Only days after learning to walk, he was rescued from an abortive attempt on Denali by a pair of idealistic tourists from New York City. As a young lad in Brooklyn, he learned many important backcountry skills, like how not to drive. He now dreams of dropping out of college and buying a farm in New Hampshire. If this sounds like a bad idea, you have not heard some of his other life plans. Also, he likes to hike.
