I am from Monterrey, Mexico, part of the first group of exchange students to be accepted at Yale University. I am an Economics major interested in finance, globalization and public policy. My interest in global affairs has led me to several APEC Summits in the past. As well, I have been involved in numerous leadership summits in my hometown and I am engaged in social community service as an English tutor. I am a passionate tennis player and have a special love for all types of desserts.

I am a senior in the Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology department at Yale University who is very passionate about tropical medicine research as well as infectious diseases research.
