Travel by Rail
For participants coming from Washington D.C., New York, and other parts of the East Coast with rail access, New Haven Union Station is serviced by Metro North Railway to and from Manhattan Grand Central Station as well as Amtrak Railways with easy access from all metropolitan areas along the East Coast.
Travel by Car
The Law School is also easily accessible by car and free parking is available in Yale lots on weekends. Lot 78, at Ashmun Street and York Square Place, is particularly convenient. For full parking information and maps visit Parking Services.
From I-95
From the north: Connect to I-91 North in New Haven; take Exit 3 (Trumbull Street) and follow directions below for I-91.
From the south: Connect to I-91 North in New Haven (left exit); take Exit 3 (Trumbull Street) and follow directions below for I-91.
From I-91
Take Exit 3 off I-91 (from North or South). The exit ramp becomes Trumbull Street. Follow Trumbull Street to the end (at the fifth light - Prospect Street). Turn left on Prospect Street. Take the first right (at the stoplight) onto Grove Street. The Law School is in the second block on your left. Metered parking is available on Grove Street and on other streets in the vicinity; the main entrance to the Law School (127 Wall Street) is a short walk away at the corner of Wall and High Streets.
Travel by Air
For participants requiring transportation via air, New Haven is about 90 miles from John F. Kennedy International Airport and Laguardia International Airport in New York City. There is also easy access to Bradley International Airport in Hartford, Connecticut located about 60 miles north of the Yale campus. New Haven also has its own airport, Tweed Regional Airport, which is serviced by several major airlines.
