Dear Delegate,


It is with great pleasure that I invite you to the thirty-first annual Security Council Simulation at Yale. Each year, we aim to take SCSY to greater heights, but this year, we’ve outdone ourselves. My Secretariat and I have committed ourselves to improving and enhancing the delegate experience with creative committees, original topics and challenging crises. The result: a Model United Nations simulation unlike any other on the national circuit.


SCSY’s small crisis-based committees provide our delegates with a unique opportunity to work together to develop innovative solutions as they immerse themselves in complex contemporary and historical issues. And, after a long day averting crises, relax and get to know one another at one of SCSY’s illustrious late night events. On behalf of the SCSY XXXI Secretariat and staff, I hope you will join us on Yale’s beautiful campus next fall. We look forward to seeing you at the most memorable SCSY yet!
