Peer Health Education Application
(Please apply ONLY through November 1st)
Peer Health Educators are a group of Yale University undergraduates who are committed to making a difference in the lives of their peers.
Educators acknowledge that ultimately each individual must make independent informed choices. Therefore, they are committed to provide Yale students with information, awareness and life skills required to successfully make choices about sex and alcohol, as well as the ability to communicate these decisions effectively. The goal of the program is to educate about sexual health, alcohol and sexual assault and harassment in a nonjudgmental and caring manner.
Peer Health Educators are expected to commit to at least three semesters of volunteer work. They are required to attend weekly meetings as well as participate in other activities. If you are interested in becoming a Peer Health Educator, complete the application below and more details will follow.
(NOTE: Due to the time commitment involved, we are only accepting applications from freshman, sophomores, and juniors.
