Colonoscopy Brown Bag Lunch and Learn
Yale Health Plan Members: Come learn more about colonoscopy and have your questions or any concerns addressed.
Join us for a Colonoscopy Brown Bag Lunch and Learn on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. The session will take place at YUHS, 17 Hillhouse Ave in the cafeteria on the lower level. Dr. Harry Aslanian and clinicians from the YUHS Endoscopy Suite will give a talk about colorectal cancer, colonoscopies, and answer your questions. There will also be a tour of the Endoscopy Suite.
Space is limited. Please register by Wednesday, November 4, 2009. If you have questions regarding registration please call 203-432-0246.
Feel free to bring your lunch. Beverages will be provided. Please allow extra time for parking.
Newborn Education Class
- Learn about newborn care and how to promote the health of your baby
- Become more familiar with the Department of Pediatrics
- Be able to identify common newborn health issues and know when to call the Department of Pediatrics
Classes are offered monthly on the 2nd Thursday of the month for women in their 32nd - 36th week of pregnancy.

Breastfeeding Class
- Learn breastfeeding basics and how to get off to a great start
- Discuss the "art of breastfeeding" and the joys and benefits it provides to you and your baby
- Explore common concerns parents have about breastfeeding
