The Yale VITA project is one of several sites in New Haven where low-income individuals can receive free tax preparation services. For many people, these services allow them to benefit from the Earned Income Tax Credit. The VITA program can be found operating from the New Haven Free Public Library at 133 Elm St, and is there Mondays and Wednesdays from 5-8PM and Fridays from 1-5PM between January 30th - April 16th 2013.
