Yale Group for the Study of Native America

Pathways
Entrance: Pueblo Bonito

The Yale Group for the Study of Native America (YGSNA) was formed in late 2003 to bring together the intellectual community at Yale working in the a rea of Native American Studies. This community ranges across disciplines and beyond the campus. Our intention is to share our work and ideas with each other, to build a network both within Yale and with other institutions, to forge connections with tribal nations and communities, and to build a strong foundation for Native American Studies at Yale.

In addition to having an annual colloquium series, the YGSNA will host major speaker events and hopes to continue the work of the Pathways conference. Our sponsors include the Howard R. Lamar Center for the Study of Frontiers and Borders and the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library. The YGSNA is composed of graduate students, undergraduate students, faculty, and staff, with Professor John Mack Faragher serving as its Faculty Advisor. If you wish to be added to the group's email list, please contact paul.costa@yale.edu
