The Yale Film Society is a student-run organization devoted to promoting film culture at Yale, bringing students, faculty, and prominent members of the film community together to discuss and experience film. Events include: special guests, screenings, sneak previews, and discussions. members.
Becca is a junior in Morse College. She is a film studies major who also loves to learn about history. Becca is disturbed by the number of hours she spends watching movies. Her favorites include Annie Hall, Bonnie and Clyde, The Great Dictator, Donnie Darko, and Gone With the Wind.
Simon is a junior in Branford College. He likes La Dolce Vita, Wild Strawberries, The Searchers, and other motion pictures.
Daniel is a sophomore in Branford College. He is a Physics major with a love of Paul Thomas Anderson and Japanese cinema.
Tory is a sophomore in Ezra Stiles College. Though a political science major, she grew up in a family of film buffs and loves all genres. Her favorite films include Gattaca, Young Frankenstein, Sleeper, Goodfellas, and Hot Fuzz.
Zoe is a junior in Saybrook College, and an American Studies major. She has a soft spot for classic mob movies, Woody Allen, and all things Bogart/Bacall.
