Yale Children’s Theater is an undergraduate community service organization sharing theater with young people in Greater New Haven. We have on-campus and touring productions, an improvisation troupe, and weekly acting workshops.

Productions

Undergraduate writers, directors, and actors put their spin on famous children’s tales or create their own for K-5 audiences, performed in Yale College theaters and at schools in Greater New Haven.

Workshops

Our teaching team hosts weekly acting and improv workshops for grades K-12. Students across schools and towns come to Yale’s campus to learn and grow as theater-makers.

Tours

Visits to Greater New Haven schools give our productions a new stage and audience! For younger grades, our actors read and act out classic children’s books.
