Despite our success in obtaining research grants, this is not enough. Biomedical research costs and needed equipment have sky-rocketed. To insure that Yale Pediatric research continues at the highest level, your support of our programs is essential. It is possible to make targeted contributions to areas of research that you will like to support.
Areas of research that you may wish to consider supporting are:
- Prevention of birth defects
- Developing new treatments for life-threatening childhood infections
- Finding cures for immune system disorders
- Developing new treatments for endocrine conditions
- Discover new treatments for inflammatory bowel disease
- Development of molecular diagnostics
- Prevention of mental retardation
We also can use your help in training the next generation of Pediatric Clinician Scientist by supporting:
- The YCHRC Undergraduate Student Research Program
- The YCHRC Educational Program for Pediatricians in Residency Training
- The YCHRC Educational Program for Fellows
- The YCHRC Young Investigator Program
We also can use your help to keep our research technology current by supporting:
- The YCHRC Cellular Imaging Facility
- YCHRC Molecular Biology and Biochemistry Core
You can make a difference!
