About

"Business of Biotech" is an evening non-credit, week-long seminar designed to give non-textbook information about starting companies. Back for its sixth incarnation, BOB2008 is taught by Constance McKee, Yale MBA, co-founder and CEO of Manzanita Pharmaceuticals and previously Chief Executive of Cambridge Quantum Fund I (Cambridge, UK).

The seminar runs four evenings, January 28th-January 31st from 6PM-8:30PM at the Yale School of Management.

During the first hour Constance reviews basic concepts like business plans, business models, term sheets and financing strategies for life sciences companies. During the second hour speakers will address key decisions in their business. Speakers this year include executives of small biotech companies, specialty pharma, big pharma and venture philanthropy. Everyone in the Yale, YBPS, and Industry community is welcome.
