In its twenty-six years as an established undergraduate organization at Yale University, the Forum has informed and enlightened the student body about business and economic issues. This year, the Forum is aggressively implementing new services for the Yale community, including resume workshops that give students the edge in the job market, investing seminars that provide beginners with the tools needed to succeed in the stock market, and entrepreneurship/networking meetings to help students create sound businesses.
Through our Speakers Program, we invite prominent corporate executives, economists, and politicians to address the Yale community. Throughout our history, our guests have given the student body insightful and interesting discussions about current issues in their fields. While the classroom can shed some light on these topics, we feel that the best education also involves these once-in-a-lifetime interactions between our speakers and students.
Last year, our CEO guests included such luminaries as Ted Waitt of Gateway 2000, Leonard Lauder of Estee Lauder Companies, Rich Teerlink of Harley Davidson, Gordon Bethune of Continental Airlines, Raymond Smith of Bell Atlantic, and Dineh Mohajer of Hard Candy.
We heartily welcome students from all disciplines and majors to come join us for a fantastic year of discussion, debate, and meeting famous people! (This means that grad students and faculty can come, too!)
A one-year membership costs only $15 and gives you access to all Forum events throughout the year.
