The editors of The Yale Review have established no formal writers' guidelines. We recommend instead that you become acquainted with the magazine in order to see the kinds of work we publish. We ask only that each submission or group of submissions be typed, double-spaced (with the exception of poetry, which may be single-spaced), and accompanied by a stamped, addressed return envelope. Consideration of manuscripts usually requires one to three months.
