Tips 'N Tricks:
Compressing Video for Internet streaming:

1. Launch Quicktime Pro from the Multimedia program group.
2. Select "Open File" from the File menu and open your movie file.
3. Select "Export" from the File menu and select a name and location for the compressed version of your movie.
4. On the "Export" pulldown menu choose the "Movie to Quicktime Movie" setting.
5. Click the "Options" button. Select the Settings button under Video and choose the following settings:
• Video Format: H.264
• Frame rate: current
• Quality: High
6. Select the Size button under Video and choose the following settings:
• Size: 320 x 240
7. Select the Settings button under Sound and choose the following settings:
• Audio Format: AAC-L
• Data Rate: 128 kbps
• Channels: (use the same setting as your original material is -- either mono or stereo)
• Output Sample Rate: 44.1
• Encoding Quality: Better
8. Click the Save button to export your file
