Music 390b: Tips 'N Tricks

Creating A Data DVD-R

1. First, insert a blank DVD-R into the recordable optical drive.

2. Second, launch Toast 6 Titanium.

3. Third, choose the "Data" tab in the content area.

4. Fourth, choose "Mac Only" or "Mac & PC" under disc options.

5. Fifth, drag the folder(s) with your project materials over to the content area.

6. Sixth, pull down the "Recorder" menu and choose "Recorder Settings."

7. Seventh, choose "Best," then click "OK."

8. Eighth, click on the "Big Red Record Button," then click "Record."

9. Ninth, choose "Eject" when your DVD-R is done.

10. Tenth, check to see that all your data is recorded on the DVD-R.
