Midterm and Final Tests (30%):

Both the midterm and the final tests will consist of 40 multiple-choice and short-answer questions which will address electronic music history, terminology, and technology as discussed in the lectures. In addition, there will be 10 identification questions where you will listen to a piece of music and identify the genre. The final will cover the entire span of the course. The dates of the midterm and final are marked on your syllabus. Makeup tests will not be given unless you present a written excuse from the Dean’s Office or your doctor.
