Assignment 3 (10%)

ReCycling ReReasoning.

For this last assignment you will create 5 eight-measure loops in ReCycle using functions such as trimming, slicing, groove and sound extracting, quantizing, envelope generator, stretching, transient sharper, equalizer, gate change, and tempo change. You will then export and assemble these loops in Reason. You may add other tracks and effects in Reason. The composition should be around 1-minute long. Export your project as an .aiff file and convert it in Wave Editor to mp3. Post your project on your blog. This assignment should be written in either trip hop or jungle styles.

Due November 10 in the class.
