Links, Links, Links!

We know how much you value the Faculty, Staff, Student, and YaleInfo links so we added new links and updated the existing ones. If you have suggestions about adding links, please send them to itswebteam@yale.edu.

A Refresing Demo

Previously, many different people using the demo account to explore YaleInfo caused the layout to get cluttered. New functionality has been added to refresh the layout every hour. Show your friends and experiment all you want, if the layout gets cluttered, it will refresh in an hour.

Yale Connect

YaleConnect Email Comming Soon

Information Technology Services is building a new interface to integrate interactive features of email into YaleInfo. If your email was displaying in the past, it will continue to work as usual. If your email is not currently available in YaleInfo, we have provided you with a link to access your email inbox.

Where's the Feedback Form?

We value your feedback and we also want to optimize the space you can use on the screen. The Feedback form link is now located at the top of every page. Let us know what you think! We’re always happy to hear any suggestions or comments you may have.

New My Calendar portlet supports the popular iCal standard

On Wednesday January 23rd we deployed the new My Calendar Portlet to the YaleInfo University Portal ( www.yale.edu/portal/). My Calendar allows aggregation of iCal feeds into a single convenient view. The initial focus of this My Calendar is to enable students to see a personalized course schedule on their YaleInfo pages.

My Calendar supports the increasingly popular iCal standard for Internet and Web calendars. My Calendar allows you to add and customize a selections of Yale events calendars, course schedules, and a wide range of general iCal calendars from the Web.

You'll find the new My Calendar portlet listed when you use under the "Add Portlets" link at the top right of all YaleInfo pages.
