Note on “secure and non-secure items” messages in Internet Explorer
The YaleInfo portal inherently mixes content from many sources: programs, news feeds, and other information. Although YaleInfo is quite secure, the Internet Explorer browser will sometimes flag this mixed content with a security message. Just click “Yes” to continue.
What can I do with YaleInfo?
Yale students, faculty, and staff can login with a Yale NetID to see personalized content including news feeds, tools and services tailored to staff or faculty at Yale, and relevant campus announcements. You can also easily access your library record, S.I.S., and the online facebook information through YaleInfo. To learn more about personalizing YaleInfo, changing the layout, and selecting content portlets, please see the Using YaleInfo section of the menu on the left.
Web browsers
We recommend that you use the most current version of Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari when using YaleInfo. You must enable JavaScript and browser cookies in your Web browser “options” or “preferences” sections for full portal functionality. YaleInfo is not designed to work with outdated browsers like Internet Explorer 5 or Netscape 4.
