Yale University offers a relaxed, scholarly setting to summer academic programs, meetings and conferences sponsored by not-for-profit organizations in a downtown location where attendees may take advantage of the offerings of numerous restaurants and shops. Yale's reputation for academic excellence serves to both inspire and excite those who use its facilities during the summer time.

The University serves a population of 11,500 undergraduate, graduate and professional students, yet the experience of student life here is one of a small college. Oxford University provided the model for Yale's residential college system that divides undergraduates into twelve separate, small communities. Each community, called a college, surrounds a courtyard and has its own dormitory rooms, common lounges, dining rooms and facilities such as computer rooms. Our college system offers an intimate, academic setting where summer groups can create a congenial, collegiate atmosphere.

The staff of Conference and Event Services plan and coordinate all the University's services and facilities for meetings and conferences. Our goal is to provide the most appropriate facilities for the unique needs of each group that uses our campus, and to ensure that services provided by our departments are of the highest quality.

Our Mission: To ensure standards of quality for Educational conferences, meetings, events and programs held at Yale are consistent with Yale's standards of excellence.
