Financial Assistance

All inquiries concerning financial assistance should be addressed to the University Financial Aid Office, Yale University, P.O. Box 208288, New Haven, CT 06520-8288. Applicants for assistance should initiate contact with that office at the same time that they make their first inquiry concerning readmission, and they should submit applications for financial aid on the same timetable as their applications for readmission. The student should make every effort to complete the necessary application forms as quickly as possible. The University Financial Aid Office will make contingent awards to students who have completed their financial aid applications. These awards are contingent upon the student's readmission and are not a guarantee of readmission.

Since term bills must be paid in advance of registration, a returning student must clear any past-due balance on his or her account, and be prepared to pay the term bill in advance, less applicable financial aid credits awarded by the University.
