Dear Student, The Intercultural Affairs Council (IAC) is a project of Yale College Dean's Office. The IAC is relatively “young” in its second year of operation, and is seeking to strengthen and expand collaborative relationships with diverse centers and student organizations. We invite your participation as a student member. The mission of the IAC is to:

Comprised of 12 faculty and staff and 12 students, the IAC will meet in SSS 104 from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month during the 2009-2010 Academic Year, except for Friday, January 22nd from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. Members are expected to attend meetings and participate in monthly subcommittee meetings and related work. Student time commitment to the IAC will vary, but three to four hours per month is typical. Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors are invited to apply for a one-year term, January - December 2010. New student members will be included in the Saturday, January 30th IAC retreat in WLH 309 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
At the end of the fall 2009 semester, nine student memberships became open, and the IAC is currently accepting new applications. The application deadline is the end of Monday, January 18th (Martin Luther King Day).
