The Intercultural Affairs Council of Yale College invites you to participate in the: Our Yale community is a strong, cohesive and richly diverse community and there is much to celebrate here. However, we have also experienced incidents of hate, bias or blatant insensitivity. We are committed to offering a coordinated, community based response when such incidents occur. The "One Community" Campaign would seek to foster solidarity and understanding through the recognition that we are all one community, we are Yale. The IAC is providing T-shirts and buttons that Yale students, faculty and administrators could collectively wear in direct response to hateful incidents on campus as a sign of solidarity and support for those most directly impacted by such incidents. The collective response would be an assertion that when one of us hurts, we all do. |
