Meetings that were held during the 2010—2011 academic year for prospective majors and other interested students are given below in reverse chronological order.

Political Science. Students with an interest in majoring in Political Science are invited to a short session hosted by the department, at which there will be a presentation of how the major works and a question-and-answer period. Environmental Studies. Sophomores considering applying for the major in Environmental Studies are invited to a meeting discussing the process and expectations of the application. Note that only sophomores are eligible to apply. Silliman College Fellows' Room, 505 College Street. |

Humanities major. An informational session about the Humanities major will be held by the DUS, Norma Thompson, and Viriginia Jewiss, a member of the faculty in the program. Interested students may send questions to the DUS either before or after the meeting. 53 Wall Street, room 102. |

South Asian Studies. Students interested in a South Asian Studies major or in the languages and area-focused courses in the South Asian Studies program are invited to attend an informational session. Luce Hall, Room 203. |

Cognitive Science. Information session about the nature of the Cognitive Science major and the application process for it. Faculty and current majors will be on hand to answer questions and offer their perspectives. Applications are due on Friday, December 10. The meeting location is WLH 119. |

Astronomy. Meeting for all current and prospective majors to answer questions one about the major and get feedback from current majors on how to improve the major and life in the department on the whole for undergraduates. Astronomy department classroom, JWG 263. |
