Final Examination Schedule
The times and locations for examinations are available each term on line at the Registrar's Office Web site.
Rules governing the conduct of final examinations are given under the heading "Reading Period and Final Examination Period" in chapter III of the YCPS.
An examination group number appears in the data line for each course in both the print and online versions of chapter IV of the YCPS. The examination group assignment is usually based on the time a class begins and the days of the week on which it meets. The table gives times and their associated examination groups.

Courses in group (0) usually have no final examination. Most often they culminate in a term essay or other final exercise, but note that instructors of such courses may still schedule a regular final examination based on the course starting time.
If you take two courses with the same examination group number in the same term, you will be charged $35 for a makeup examination.
