Yale-in-London Summer Program
Yale-in-London offers two overlapping summer sessions at the Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art, each lasting six weeks. There are two courses in each session, with topics in history, history of art, architecture, literature, and drama. The courses carry full Yale course credit, but enrollment in Yale-in-London summer session does not count as a term of enrollment in Yale College. Admission is open to a limited number of undergraduates. Instruction is primarily based on the study of original works of art and architecture and, where appropriate, theater visits. Overnight field trips may be included. Accommodations are provided in University of London dormitories. Further information about the courses offered in summer 2008 and application forms will be available by September 15, 2007 on the BAC Web site. Inquiries may also be directed to the Yale-in-London office, Yale Center for British Art, 1080 Chapel Street, P.O. Box 208280, New Haven, CT 06520-8280, 432-2824. Applications for summer 2008 are due January 11, 2008.
