Center for Language Study (CLS) open house. Learn how the study of other languages and cultures can benefit any major. Attend a panel discussion at 3.30 p.m. to hear how language study has supported and enhanced the academic and career goals of current students. Ask faculty members and cls staff about language programs. Refreshments will be served. 370 Temple Street. Yale Glee Club organizational meeting. Yale’s principal undergraduate mixed chorus and oldest musical organization. Auditions will be held from September 3 to September 7, with sign-up sheets posted outside the door of the Glee Club Office, room 201, Hendrie Hall, 165 Elm Street.

Connections Health Workshops

Residential Colleges

Beginning on Wednesday evening, September 3, mandatory workshops will be conducted by Yale College Peer Health Educators in Linsly-Chittenden Hall, Old Campus. Educators are trained by Student Health Education at Yale University Health Services to inform incoming students about resources at Yale, substance abuse, sexual assault and harassment, sexual health, and the relatedness of these topics. Freshmen are required to attend.
