Instructional Innovation Grants

Instructors in Yale College can apply for a number of different types of grants to support innovation in teaching. Currently, these grant programs include the following:

Paul Moore Fund
Center for Language Study
Consortium for Language Teaching and Learning
Center for Media Initiatives

In addition, Yale offers several prizes and awards for successful new pedagogies. Electronic Library Initiatives and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute Grant also support instructional innovation in Yale College. Although each of these grant or award programs is reviewed and administered independently, the Instructional Innovation Grants (IIG) program offers a common application procedure for many of these grants and awards, and serves to coordinate the distribution of applications to the appropriate groups for review.

Instructors interested in exploring these opportunities should consult the Instructional Solutions Group Web site. General queries and comments can be directed to IIG program coordinators at iig@yale.edu.
