Field Trips
Instructors occasionally choose to include field trips as part of a course. Academic field trips can be an important and enjoyable element of education. They are, by definition, university-sponsored events, so they must abide by certain principles. Yale College has established a set of guidelines governing field trips (available on the Yale College Web site) that contain policies for both instructors and students.
