In all of the computer classrooms the instructor's computer is connected to a projector. For help with projectors and instruction on their use, e-mail classroom.support@yale.edu or call 432-2650. To learn what additional equipment is available in classrooms, consult the Media Services classroom search page.
Details about the Phelps Hall and Dunham Laboratory classrooms, including scheduling information, can be found on the Academic Computing Services Web site.
The Social Science Statistical Laboratory (StatLab) is the primary computing resource and statistical information center for social science teaching, research, and quantitative analysis. The Brewster Hall and Main StatLabs are available for instructional use and may be reserved on line, by e-mailing the StatLab staff, or by calling 432-3278. Priority for StatLab resources is given to sessions requiring statistical software and use of higher-end workstations. StatLab has a main computing facility that includes dual projection, a smaller classroom in B-13 Brewster Hall with a seminar table away from the computers, an annex seating 14 in the Social Science Library, and two workstations in Dunham 120. The StatLab Web site posts updated schedules and information.
Instructors interested in using information technology in their teaching are encouraged to contact Ken Panko, manager of the Instructional Technology Group, 432-4585, or to visit the Instructional Technology Group Web site to explore possibilities.
