Notification of the Course of Study Committee's Actions

Decisions rendered by the Course of Study Committee will be communicated to the DUS via e-mail. If you wish to respond to the committee about a conditionally approved course, you may send an e-mail to Diane Rodrigues, secretary to the chair. If you wish to respond about a tabled or rejected course, you must enter your comments in the online Course Proposal Form.

It is the practice of the Course of Study Committee to submit for faculty approval at each month's Yale College Faculty meeting whatever new courses and changes in majors it has approved. The committee's list of its recommendations circulated at those meetings normally constitutes the public record of the committee's decisions. For a record of the committee's affirmative decisions, you are directed to the lists available at the monthly faculty meetings. The secretary to the chair of the committee keeps copies of the lists submitted to the faculty each month and will supply any upon request.
