Students on a Year or Term Abroad do not pay tuition or fees to Yale for the semester in which they are studying abroad. The university or program abroad will bill students for tuition, room and board, as well as any other fees associated with attending that program or university.
Exceptions: students who participate on the Universitá Bocconi-Yale Economics Exchange Program and the Balliol College, Oxford University Junior Year Abroad Program for English Majors. Students on these two programs will pay a specified tuition fee to Yale, and housing fees directly to the university abroad.
