ISA Application Process

Apply for the ISA

  1. Review eligibility requirements and check your ISA percent eligibility.
  2. Apply to the ISA-eligible program(s) by the program deadline(s).

    Global Summer Program
    (for programs 4 weeks or longer)
    March 6, 2015
    Summer Abroad
    (credit for designated non-Yale Study abroad programs)
    Submit the Summer Abroad Credit for Non-Yale Programs application by March 1, 2015.

    Apply directly to the designated non-Yale study abroad program by the program deadline.
    Yale-coordinated international internships February 2, 2015
    Yale in London February 15, 2015
    Yale Summer Session Programs Abroad February 15, 2015

  3. Once you are accepted to an ISA-eligible program, apply for the ISA by the ISA deadline.

International Students:

Please note that you must complete certain forms at the International Tax Office before receiving the ISA. If you have not already done so, please make an appointment at Yale's International Tax Office.

The ISA application deadline is May 1, 2015.

Please note the application deadlines for the following programs. Late applications will not be accepted.
    • Global Summer Program: March 6, 2015
    • Office of Career Strategy sponsored international internships: February 2, 2015
    • Yale in London: February 15, 2015
    • Yale Summer Session Programs Abroad: February 15, 2015
    • Designated Programs: Summer Abroad: March 1, 2015

*In the case of study abroad on non-Yale programs, you must submit a Yale Summer Abroad Credit for Non-Yale Programs application by March 1, 2015 and also apply directly to the non-Yale program or university for acceptance. Non-Yale program application deadlines vary.

Because we cannot guarantee acceptance into your first-choice program, we strongly encourage you to consider applying to one or more back-up programs.
