Orientation for International Students (OIS)
|
The Orientation for International Students (OIS) is a program designed to ease international students’ transition to the United States and to familiarize them with academic life and culture at Yale. The program is organized and led by Yale College student counselors, with support from the Office of International Students and Scholars and Yale College. ois introduces students to the Yale campus and the city of New Haven, and includes workshops on academics, financial aid, and employment opportunities. Time is set aside to take care of business, such as setting up a bank account and shopping for those essential items not brought from home. For more information visit the OIS Web page or e-mail the Office of International Students and Scholars at oiss@yale.edu. |
