Taxi service from Tweed to the Yale campus costs approximately $15-$18 (Metro Taxi 203 777-7777 or Yellow Cab 203 777-7770). Bradley International Airport, in Hartford, Connecticut, is approximately 45 minutes from New Haven and is served by all major domestic airlines. Connecticut Limousine (800 472-5466), a van shuttle company, offers service between the airport and New Haven. The company offers a reduced rate of $37 one way for Yale students being pickup and drop-off at Phelps Gate on the Old Campus. When booking, mention that you are a Yale student. Be prepared to show your driver some documentation—the housing letter from your residential college dean for your first trip, your Yale id for later trips—to qualify for the lower rate. |
