The German departmental placement examination will be given on Sunday, August 30, from 2 to 3.15 p.m. in room 119, William L. Harkness Hall. A makeup examination will be given on Monday, August 31, from 9 to 10.15 a.m. in room 207, William L. Harkness Hall.  A 5-minute oral interview will follow the written test.  Preregistration is no longer required for language courses, but students are invited to come to the Academic Fair on Tuesday, September 1, to discuss classes and placement with the DUS and Language Coordinator.
