All students who wish to enroll in an introductory English course must preregister on line on Tuesday, September 1, from 4.30 to 7.30 p.m. Details about the preregistration process will be included on the English department's Web site. See Important Placement Information for placement and the courses available to freshmen.

A departmental representative will be present on Tuesday, September 1, between 9 and 11 a.m. in room 102, Linsly-Chittenden Hall, to answer questions about selection of English courses. The English department will also participate in the Academic Fair on Tuesday, September 1.
