Under the guidance of advisor Weimin Zhong of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology, Santiago is working on molecular aspects of nervous system development.

Andrew Lin '03, in the laboratory of advisor Charles Ahn of Applied Physics, with the device he used to produce novel films of complex oxides on silicon. The unique properties of these films on silicon offer numerous possibilities for the development of new microelectronic devices. Andrew's first paper on his research was published in Applied Physics letters and, with support from a YSER Research Presentation Travel Prize, he presented his results in a talk at the annual meeting of the American Physical Society.
